Article Sale Campaign

Each year, Article updates the design used for its sales initiatives to keep things fresh and on-trend. In the Fall of 2021, I had the exciting opportunity to redesign the campaign visual direction and come up with a graphic that would engage and delight customers. Under the direction of the Art Director and Associate Creative Director, I designed a new graphic and determined how it would be applied across the different channels including website, email, social, and paid advertising.

Goal

Design a versatile graphic that can be easily used by multiple designers and cross-functional partners.

Our direction was a take on the iconic Article coral dot that makes the company logo. With this new design and accompanying animation, we wanted to convey a sense of playfulness and bring a fresh perspective to something synonymous with our brand.

This pattern allowed for ease of scale and crops meaning that no matter what image ratio or use case, the design would still be clear and functional.

We knew this design would have to be adaptable to several different sales and initiatives throughout the year so we ensured it could stand the test of a variety of colour combinations and seasons.
